Quota — Privacy policy

Quota displays the usage limits of the AI providers you connect. The default service uses a Cloudflare relay operated by Thomas Gorisse at quota.sceneview.dev. A separately hosted backend can also be configured. There is no Quota account, advertising or analytics.

What is processed

The collector sends provider and subscription labels, usage percentages, reset times, collection timestamps and provider status information. A random pairing token identifies your data. Display preferences and an optional TRMNL webhook address are also stored when you configure them. Quota does not collect your name, conversations, prompts or email address.

Where it is stored

With the default configuration, this information is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV for the Quota relay. The service operator has administrative access to this infrastructure. If you configure your own backend, its operator controls that storage instead.

Pairing and provider credentials

The pairing token is generated on your Mac and stored locally on paired screens. Anyone with your pairing link can access your quota data. Do not share it publicly.

AI provider credentials stay with the collector on your Mac and are sent only to the corresponding provider to read or refresh usage access. They are never sent to Quota’s relay or to your paired screens.

Retention and removal

The relay keeps up to 24 hours of usage history. Stored quota data expires after seven days without a new collection. Device preferences are retained while the integration is active. Disconnecting or uninstalling a screen removes its local pairing; it does not delete the data on the relay. Stop the collector to stop new uploads. Contact the address below for help with deleting relay data.

Optional integrations

If you enable TRMNL, the relay sends formatted quota readings to your TRMNL webhook. TRMNL then processes those readings to render your display under its own privacy policy.

What Quota does not do

• No sale of data or advertising identifiers.
• No analytics, tracking or profiling in the app.
• No access to your conversations, location, contacts, photos or messages.

Children

Quota is a developer utility and is not directed at children.
